Find out more with DIG-AGE+ project.\nThe ongoing digital transition of companies, post Covid-19 development of distance working, and spreading technical novelties are significant change factors determining the attractiveness and performance of worker active on the European labour market. The generation gap between workers is particularly visible when it comes to digital practices. The most vulnerable to those digital changes are older generations of workers, who have rarely been offered a training opportunity on digital literacy or competencies. The digital upskilling has become a necessity within all sectors of professional activity, and is often deciding on professional profiles’ attractiveness or companies’ competitiveness and performance.\nTherefore, two years ago, the DIGAGE+ partners decided to develop an innovative European training program giving a focus to 50+ aged workers (office clears). It appeared quickly than aged workers are not a unique group of employees fragile to ongoing digital changes and raising employee’s expectations, and that all employees, despite the age, should revise and be trained on some basic digital competencies (in the field of data literacy, virtual communication, creation of digital content, cyber security or digital problem solving).
