Is it increasing over time \u2013 or are you taking steps to decrease it? Certification based on design-phase data won\u2019t tell you. Integrity and responsibility are essential to a well-run business, he says.<\/p><p>E-commerce, last-mile logistics and the 15-minute city all mean increased demand for small urban warehouse units. <a href=\"https:\/\/bpcc.org.pl\/integrating-warehouses-into-the-urban-landscape\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Monika Starowieyska from SEGRO<\/a> asks how best to integrate such units into the existing fabric of our cities.<\/p><p>Looking for flexible office space solutions? The face of Polish cities has been changed by spectacular projects that have brought new life to previously neglected districts.<\/p><p>An outstanding example of modernisation done right is Wroc\u0142aw\u2019s Renoma building. <a href=\"https:\/\/bpcc.org.pl\/an-icon-has-no-age-it-has-meaning-and-identity\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Olga Jezierska from Globalworth<\/a> Poland describe the project.<\/p><p><strong>Tax, finance and real-estate investment<br \/><\/strong>Taxes can surprise the unwary investor, tipping an otherwise profitable project into unexpected loss. <a href=\"https:\/\/bpcc.org.pl\/tax-trends-in-poland-that-every-real-estate-investor-should-know\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Micha\u0142 Koper of EY<\/a> presents an overview of Poland\u2019s real-estate tax regime, and what to watch out for. Sale-and-leaseback transactions are increasingly popular in Poland, observes <a href=\"https:\/\/bpcc.org.pl\/unlocking-capital-sale-and-leaseback-transactions-in-polands-real-estate-market\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kornelia Borowiec, from Dentons<\/a>; no longer are they a simple mechanism to release capital \u2013 they have become central to many a corporate strategy.<\/p><p>A really hot topic in Polish market right now is the imminent possibility of a new law permitting the establishment of real-estate investment trusts (REITs) in Poland. <a href=\"https:\/\/bpcc.org.pl\/?p=60577&amp;preview=1&amp;_ppp=1913516922\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Maciej Boryczko from Gessel<\/a> considers the implications for Poland\u2019s real-estate and capital markets.<\/p><p><strong>Any other legal business?<br \/><\/strong>Poland\u2019s construction sector is notably litigious.
