Dentons advised Czech investor Star Capital Finance on the acquisition of the Jantar shopping center in Słupsk from CBRE Investment Management.

Jantar is the largest shopping center in Central Pomerania in Poland. The property has a gross leasable area of 44,000 sq. m, housing more than 125 stores and providing 1,100 parking spaces. One of the key advantages of the asset is its prime location, close to major roads leading to Szczecin.

Jantar is the seventh shopping center in Poland to be added to Star Capital Finance’s portfolio. This marks another transaction on which Dentons has advised this client, following the acquisition in 2024 of a portfolio of six retail properties with a total value of €285 million.

The transaction was led by partner Piotr Szafarz and managing counsel Jarosław Stąpel, with the support of associate Olga Lipińska from the Real Estate team in Dentons’ Warsaw office. Financing documentation advice was provided by partner Tomasz Zwoliński, senior associate Magdalena Gajewska and associate Katarzyna Pasek from the Banking and Finance team. Competition law advice was provided by managing counsel Anna Gulińska.
