FANUC Polska, a manufacturer of revolutionary solutions in the field of robotics and industrial automation, opened its new headquarters in Wrocław in autumn 2025. The modern facility comprises an office and a comprehensive support and innovation centre, including a state-of-the-art showroom that replicates conditions found in a production environment. In the exhibition hall and technical rooms, covering an area of over 1,400 m², a durable Peran STB industrial floor by Flowcrete was installed, manufactured and supplied by Tremco CPG.
The FANUC Polska showroom forms a prominent part of the company’s new headquarters, located at 2 Sakury Street in Wrocław, designed by Titus Bernhard Architekten, with AMB Group acting as the main contractor. The exhibition space showcases the effectiveness of computerised numerical control systems, robots, and robotic machines, presents innovative solutions for monitoring and optimising production, and demonstrates advanced automation systems that streamline processes in production halls. The showroom enables the organisation of live demonstrations and practical showcases of FANUC technology.
Requirements for industrial flooring
The investor wanted the high-tech showroom to reflect actual production conditions and processes. Regarding the flooring in the exhibition hall, the requirements included the use of a durable industrial system with high mechanical, chemical, and thermal resistance. It was also essential for the surface to be smooth and level, with expansion joints kept to a minimum, so that it could meet the requirements of precision vehicle traffic.
Peran STB – Flowcrete’s original flooring technology
Resin flooring experts from Tremco CPG recommended an innovative epoxy-quartz system developed by Flowcrete – Peran STB, which was installed in FANUC Polska’s new exhibition hall and technical rooms, covering a total area of approx. 1,400 m², in dark grey – the colour chosen by the investor and designers.
This durable, seamless industrial floor is created using a clear epoxy resin and coloured quartz sand, applied using a mechanical trowelling technique. This solution was developed with industry in mind, which is why the Peran STB flooring system offers very high performance in terms of resistance to operational loads, including scratches, abrasion, impacts and point loads. Due to these properties, this solution is well-suited to production areas with heavy foot and vehicle traffic.
The Peran STB floor fits perfectly into minimalist interiors with an industrial feel. Its colour derives from the coloured sands used. This product is available in a range of tried-and-tested standard shades, with a glossy finish. It is also possible to choose one’s own colour scheme and apply satin or matt topcoats. Thanks to its attractive appearance and wide range of design options, this original epoxy-quartz system from Flowcrete is also used in commercial spaces and public interiors.
The result is as expected
„The exhibition area at FANUC Poland’s new headquarters was designed to showcase our products and solutions in conditions as close as possible to a real production environment. For this reason, a resin floor was the obvious choice. We opted for the Peran STB system due to its high strength parameters, as the showroom is one of the most frequently visited areas in our new headquarters, where we anticipate heavy foot traffic. The practical, dark grey colour of the flooring fits perfectly into the minimalist, industrial interior with large glazed areas,” – said Arkadiusz Błaut, Teamleader Technical Sales Support RO/RD at FANUC Polska.
The Peran STB flooring in the FANUC Polska exhibition hall was installed by Arpox, a company based in Wrocław, Flowcrete authorised contractor.
